Oahu's first master planned community in central Oahu began sales in 1968 and was the first to offer affordable housing. The elevation rises from 700 feet to 1000 feet above sea level. As a result, the temperature can range from a high of 82 in the summer to a low of 66 degrees. In fact, other popular community-based businesses and services such as supermarkets, fitness centers, medical facilities, restaurants and movie theaters are located in Mililani to serve the residents' day to day needs.
